Mission trip to Pinares, Honduras
Dr. Aunon assisted the Shoulder to Shoulder organization with a Medical/ Dental mission trip to Pinares, Honduras in January 2009. Pinares was chosen as the site which we will adopt because it is one of the poorest areas in Central America. During the week long trip over 110 people were treated dentally, which mainly consisted of multiple teeth being removed. Poor nutrition along with sodas and lollipops is the root cause of their poor dental health. Dr. Aunon plans on returning again in January 2010.
